Every team member has a specific Question to answer.

Brainstorm: What do we need to know? (Who? What? Where?)

Assign It: Write a student's name next to every question in the "Detective Work" section.

Keywords: Write 5 words that will help us search for answers.

Learning Target I can find books that answer my question and list where I found them.

Success Criteria 3 Sources found.
Title and Author written in the Bibliography section.

The Hunt: Use your Keywords. Check the Index!

Cite It: Write the Title and Author in your Bibliography section.

Start Reading: If you find an answer, mark the page!

Learning Target I can read a text and write a fact in my own words.

Success Criteria 2 Facts written in the "Notes" section.
I added "My Thoughts" about the facts.

The Golden Rule: Read the sentence.

Close the Book! (No copying!)

Write: Write the fact in your own words in the "Notes" section.

Learning Target I can write a step-by-step plan for my experiment or project.

Success Criteria Materials list is full.
Steps 1-5 are written in the "Plan" section.

The Robot Test: Are your steps specific?

Supplies: List everything you need (Tape? Glue? Water?).

The Plan: Write exactly what you will do in order (1, 2, 3...).
